I have been slowly upgrading my Dansco 7160 completed set. I just picked up a couple of nice ones. This one will replace the VG10 currently filling the hole. Beautiful luster. A nice raw coin pick up. If I did send coins for grading this one would qualify.
What say you?

well, I have to say you definitely upgraded the one you had.
i really like the reverse on this one. although the photos are nice, the lighting in the photos is throwing off too much glare for me to assess the coins surfaces properly.

looks like a small reeding hit on the right elbow which could point to it being banged around a little in a bag at one time. light field marks on the right obv field. A few small ticks on the gown and on the eagle wing horizontal to the A in AMERICA. light strike on the head and olive branches. cant get a good handle on whether its missing luster.

there is a fine line between a really nice AU58 and an MS coin
without photos with less glare I'm going with a decent AU58

Maybe these will help. All I can tell you about the luster is that it is as good as any 65/66 graded coins in this set. It has cartwheeling all around.
Thanks for your input. Your opinion is always greatly appreciated.

I don't see any rubbing but there are a lot of marks. MS-62.

Surfaces look good, I just see a black mark above the L on the obverse. Nice coin!
