My Son picked me up some coins for my Birthday recently.
Thought this one looked good pretty good.
Nice luster, but some carbon spots from the old holder he was in.
Tell me what you think.
Thanks for looking and commenting.

With what I can see in the current photos, I'll guess MS-63.

That looks like it could be RPM 001 FS 501.

LOL...I was trying to pull off a "HumblePie" grading post...
He's kinda tricky asking us for an opinion on a grade. If someone recognizes the Variety (he typically cherrypicks), he'll admit it..but until then he runs with it...
Very fun and intriguing in my opinion.
Maybe because this 59-D seemed like an ordinary modern (he's does the classics)...it didn't get very much scrutiny?
Good job HGK3...you figured out what I was trying to play.
Thanks for playing!

weak strike both sides. not sure what the green spots and shades are, I'm going with verdigris. it should be mitigated. I'm not 100% convinced the coin is uncirculated. the photos light and focus could be the issue. the area below the steps looks like light hairlines with broken luster. diagonal hairlines across the cheek and jaw. the other areas are not really showing signs of circulation so it is a conundrum as these could be from sliding around in a holder.

I'm at AU58 or MS63. great RPM. cant miss that one.

Yes, very clear RPM. Given the images posted, I'm thinking MS62 max, possibly MS60.
