2021 D has no listings for any Cuds or pre Cuds. what do you think.I did give him a 24 hour soak in acetone. thanks for your time and comments. I should add there are many die chips on the obverse side. my guess is the obverse side die was not long for production.

Ev I understand the observation of the reverse. But do you feel like the one on the obverse by the date is a stain as well or is there another line of thinking with the one that goes through the date.

The lines on the obverse look like stains to me. It reminds me of liquid that got spilled on to the coin. Just my opinion though.

I would agree you can see it running just inside the upright to the D all the way up to the zero in the date.

Quote: so I made the unpopular decision to give this coin a short dip in ezest Soak that coin in acetone now! Then doing a flowing rinse with fresh acetone. You have to make sure all the dip is removed or it will "keep working" long after you dipped it.

My only other thoughts are it could either be a scratch or Struck Through error, if it's incuse.
