I had a really nice XF well made specimen in 1995. The coin market was dead in those days and I could only get $5 for it.
The markets have been growing steadily since the states quarters began in 1999. I saw an offer for one recently for $80.
Most of my collecting friends in the '50's had the '24-D but it was usually in very bad shape. It was only a little tougher than the '26-S but the '26-S was usually in a lot better condition.
