This coin is one of the reasons I stopped using 2x2s and switched to flips. A slip of the stapler on the Obv dumped my treasure a couple of points.

What Grade now say you.

First thing I noticed is that this is a '38. But is the nick up by the 2nd T in trust? I don't know grading well, especially not for nicks and dings, but I say it's barely noticable at actual size and would only dock it 1 point.

It still looks beautiful. The only other thing to possibly hold back the grade by at least a point is what appears to be little bits of carbon.

Hi Nohope

Nice Nickel even with the boo boo !!

it will however get a bit of hit on the grade for it ,, MS-63 ,, I think it may have been really close to a 65 before !

The 38-S is a very undervalued coin for the mintage . IMHO !
