ATB Five Ounce Silver Coins

Good move...after this week's drop in spot you can now get them cheaper

Probably under $15/oz and holding before the Mint will reprice the ATBs appropriately. Could happen and would be nice to pick them up at $129.95 or even lower. Bullion is running at under $98 each today.

With my costs higher, and, my recent submissions to PCGS not so hot, I have decided to stop buying pucks from the Mint. My plan was to buy 5 or 10, send them in for grading, and, keep the SP70 for my personal set run, and, sell the SP69's off to make up costs. This isn't working, with silver so low, and, I have lost a small amount with my test run.
To complete my set, from here till 2021, it will be easier, and cheaper to just buy 1 SP70 of each coin.
The HARD part will be to find a NON MERCANTI label. I'm going to write another thread in another forum about these. In a nutshell, it's a big mess, and, I'm sticking with plain First Strike coins ONLY, to stay away from problems(90% of Mercanti insets on ebay DO NOT show in cert as such, and, are grouped anyway, into the First Strike coin number, lowering values...whether a goof, or, something more sinister, I don't know yet...either way, it's NOT pretty)..Caveat Emptor, when dealing with these.

Usually when silver at its lowest point for the year, many of the most popular government bullion is either held back for a rise in price or allowed sell out without buying new inventory as you've noticed. A good alternative is limited run private bullion such as the Zombucks or 12 Labors of Hercules both offered by Provident. Both series are decently well designed, though the Zombucks aren't really to my taste. (The Feast dollar is pretty awesome though.) Some of the sold out designs have healthy secondary market premiums. Oh yeah they have a detailed Prospector bullion coin that looks pretty sharp too. Something to think about when ordering with your Everglades puck..

I don't know where Silver(or Gold) will go...all I do is subscribe to this newsletter, as it does have facts, mixed with opinions. I thought bottom was hit. Boy, was I wrong...AGAIN.

I really doubt that they will sell 30k of ANY of the P pucks....They will probably reduce the mintage for future issues to 25k and even that is a stretch...

Silver spot price is dripping lower and it's only 3.5 weeks until Black Friday, we can't expect a robust sell number.

Make sure to keep an eyes out for some of those end of the year or lingering product that may be terminated suddenly by the Mint in the next two months.
