Awesome, barryg! Just bought another Everglades bullion, can't seem to resist them as it's the best ATB design this year.

yup: the following bullion dealers will sell you one coin: Provident Metals ($99+ each), SD Bullion ($102+), and APMEX ($106+). I haven't dealt with SD yet, other stackers and collectors have said they're dependable and reliable. Provident has the cheapest price on a single coin, but note that they've stopping sending single coins in a Z5 airtite coin capsule but in a vinyl flip that is not good for long term storage of .999 silver. APMEX still uses the Z5 capsule for their single orders, however they have the highest premium. You could ask your LCS dealer to get some in also.

Before reading this thread I had just put in an order with Provident for a few of the Everglades bullion pucks. They had the best price and I have a crap load of capsules left over from my earlier puck submissions. The flips won't be an issue.

WELL-

I just got my first 5 oz collector P Everglades quarter from the US Mint.

To anyone who has never bought this series yet, they are very nice. To those who havent added this one of their 5 oz collection.... wow this is a beautiful coin. The detail on the birds is very well done, you can appreciate the detail on both birds very very very easily as they stand out big time... and as pictures show, its a beautiful detailed yet clean design.

Good job US Mint, this is the BEST coin yet in this series, I think.

Now if someone would sell me their El Yunque coin at a fair price, I would be super happy lol

I'm still waiting to see if the price drops on the new pucks. If no price change in the next couple of months I will pick one up. They just seem too over priced for the moment.

@teach

I am certain I will look on ebay and in 3-6 months I'll find this lower.... but I really love the design, I havent bought any 5 oz ATB's until now.... so I was like, I dont want to wait.

I am stalking tho for the bullion issue of this coin...

I, too, will wait a bit just to see if the price comes down. I'm in no rush. Funny with silver at the lowest (when any of these coins were issued) and no discount. It was tough getting all the others just as issued or should I say affording them then but now I'm glad I did. Worth the discount even though no choice as to when to order.

Actually, I thought the initial first weeks would be less that this with spot/cost of coin so far apart. The previous coins are still increasing as well.

I think a lot of people still had enrollments is why the initial sales were so high. It will be interesting to see how many pucks are sold when the next new puck comes out next year. I'm sure silver prices will be another factor involved with all of this.

You know,,, I have waited all year for this specific coin from the Mint.

That being the case, I had no choice BUT to buy the P version. For the most part, as silver and gold have tumbled, I have been buying less and less of recent releases of ANY mint.

But this is the scenario I envision and I am probably going to be wrong: A lot of us will be waiting and delaying purchases because of falling PM prices AND time goes on and more stalling- THEN report comes of the low sales and BAMMMM the coin ends up getting a premium.

I am going to be probably wrong and thats ok. All I know is I didnt want to miss out on a design I have been waiting for and wanting. I wanted the El Yungue coin, delayed and now I will have to pay up for one.

Now, the bullion coin is a different thing. These suckers are going to be around in quantity... but on that one I can delay as I will wait for silver prices to give me a better purchase.
