That explains the mystery. It's a Cincinnati, OH token. The OH165EZZ-3a is an R2 per Fuld 2nd Edition.

That's a big affirmative Ghost Rider...

I would love to Dave, but my travel coordinator says our next trip is to TN in August for a family wedding. Darn shame the bride, who is from Port Charlotte, with more family in Orlando, didn't pick Florida for the wedding. (she's my niece)

Bill, family comes before coins... At least that's what I've been told. It's obvious I didn't make up THAT rule . It'll be much cooler in TN in August than in Orlando. She's a smart girl Maybe you can make it down for the Jan show. It's MUCH bigger anyways... and will be more comfortable than MI that time of year

For folks following this thread, here's a storecard book that's up for bids on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/35109557889....m1423.l2649At about three hours before closing, it's at $25. It's an invaluable reference. Mine has paid for itself many times over. Good luck! ... SOLD for $31 + $5 shipping

I sure hope the CWTS is able to get the Third Edition of the store card book out this year. It has been a massive project.

I'm with you on that, Penny Guy. Gotta give those working on it a ton of credit for the massive effort.
I recall the long wait for that 2nd edition, back in the seventies. That book will stay in my rference library for awhile, even after the new one comes out. As with the 2nd, I expect that I'll take issue with some of the newer listings, some of the omissions and some of the rarity ratings. Still in all, a CWT collection is simply what the individual collector makes of it ... no holes to fill!

I'll be at the FUN show next week and want to send in a few Civil War tokens for grading. Which TPG is the best for these? ICG, ANACS or NCG?

IMHO, NGC is the best for these. I believe that NGC is the choice of the major dealers for CWT's.

I agree with ExpoGuy on using NGC. The few I have that are slabbed are by them.

At the last FUN show in January I did have NCG grade some tokens I wanted to have slabbed... but I also know they're more expensive, too. Thanks guys. I'll go w/ NCG again
