Very nice Mr.Frog. Great eye appeal, color and centering.
This was BIG money in the time period in which it circulated. Having a $50 note in 1932 was the equivalent of having over $900 in today's money.

Yeah, I think the 50s are tougher too. The 100s used for big transactions, while the 50s were less likely to be in demand, as far as I can tell. Pretty much the same as today, perhaps even more so since 500s and 1000s are not around. Nice pickup.

Low serials on this prolific issuer are not often seen, let alone a low 2 digit serial. This is from the 12th sheet printed, out of a staggering 798,000 sheets.  |

Impressive. Great bold sigs. Reverse pic? How do you read the shaved lower corners? How do you grade it?

WheatBack, that is a gorgeous note. The blues are fantastic and those signatures are crisp. Isn't there someone around here who likes 12's? |
