31 large in Kelly (which I'm sure has gone up), and only 4 out of those 31 large are $10 Value Backs. Only 2 $20 Value Backs known.

harley, nice notes indeed. Now, if you can find the L-B block you'll really have a semi-scarce block for the 1935A $5 notes. Question: what are the back plate numbers of your two notes? Can't quite make out the number from the scan -- looks like 14xx

 Picked this one up a couple of weeks ago. My first $5 SC. Just couldn't resist the price, seemed cheap at around 25% less than current CDN prices. The down side is that I'll probably now have to get others to get a complete set of $5 SCs  |

Beautiful example, congrats. Interestingly, the star note of this series is among the rarest of all small size federal notes.

The $5 1953C Silver Certificates were printed and never released. The BEP actually displays an uncut sheet of 1953C $5 SC star notes. Serial numbers G45000001A - H35640000A (90,640,000) and *31320001A - *35640000A (4,320,000).
