captaincoffee, I think Lincolns come either really nice or cheap but not both. If you somehow pull off this minor miracle be sure and tell us about it.

Added a 4 digit rollover pair to my collection today. The last 3 digits seem to be off.

I'm as much to blame as anyone, but this thread shouldn't go this long neglected. I belong to several collectors groups on social media and I recently saw a shrink wrapped brick of series 2009 $1 FRNs starting with serial number L00000001D. I knew the owner and requested serial number 12 if and when the brick was parted out. It recently arrived. I'm thrilled to have both a 2009 and 2013 $1 FRN with identical serial numbers, L00000012D. Serial number 12 on the 12th district. I've had the 2013 note for some time and it appears to be a slightly different hue or shade because it's in an older, tinted PMG holder.

Picked up this Richmond fractional on ebay yesterday. What would that note on the back have been? Maybe the Rapinoe Bank? With the little girl depicting Megan's great-grandmother in her younger years? It's the Rappahannock Bank, Virginia

Steve - very cool pair. Pre-internet, I'd think collecting such a pair would have been virtually impossible.
Lighthouse - I've always thought these re-used/re-printed notes were quite a curiosity.

@captaincoffee I have some more in this "fashion". Must have been a testimony of paper shortage back in the day I guess.
