Nice coin. Aside from the repunched 7 variety I like to point out some interesting die breaks on obverse.
On almost all "A's" and "E" of regina.

Thanks for the observation, Coin-Flipper. I find that interesting.

So perhaps, a different die used on the other 1870 repunched 7s ?

I forgot about this coin. I purchase it a couple of years ago. 1870 5 cent, Repunched 7, with no obverse die cracks/breaks.

This is second variety of the large denomination-small date five cent of 1858 that is known.

I have the 4 latest Canada 5 cents now for 2019
Bringing my total nickel collection to 220 different examples since 1922. I consider it pretty much complete by my standards.

It is expensive to keep up with this every year.
This year I had to get the
Uncirculated, Specimen, Silver Proof and Nickel Plated Steel Proof.

The 2019 75th anniversary proof set was made with and without silver coins, although I think the colorized commemorative dollar is silver in both.

The "nickel" in the non silver set is actually steel and nickel plated. I think there were 15,000 of each set made.
