I purchased ten sealed 1867-1992 caribou quarters and ten sealed 2000 no W caribou quarters recently at an online auction. I found this information online for the 1992 caribou quarters: "No circulation (MS) caribou 25 cents were struck but about 217,600 were issued in the regular PROOF-LIKE sets, 78330 in SPECIMEN sets and about 174,100 in the standard PROOF sets, bringing their total mintage about 470,000, far less than 1991 that people think of as scarce" And this information online about the 2000 no W, caribou quarters: "The mintage for the 2000 Caribou quarter was about 186,985 in Proof-like sets, about 78330 in specimen sets and about 87,965 in proof sets for a total mintage of about 353,280" Should I leave them like they are or take them out and put them in 2X2's?

They will be more desirable in original pliofilm. I just fold a 2X2 over the original and stash it in a page. No staples of course.

I agree with Andy, just put them in a 2x2 neatly and scotch tape the edges closed.

Thanks for the advice, that's what I will do with them. For good or bad, at $1.50 each all-in, I couldn't pass them up!

Looking at these again, those 1st 10 are in huge pockets that will spill out of a 2x2. Using tape could damage the film if removal happens in the future. The 2nd 10 look like they should fit. I don't like tape, and when the 2x2 is in the page pocket, it's secure enough.

I believe that oversize clear pockets are available that would be large enough to accommodate these coins. If they are not made anymore I am sure you could find them on some website.
