@Canadianpennyman, the toonie fakes are pretty obvious. I have found four different years, all the older style (pre-security 2012). The effigy is very crude, and the fields are also rough. The polar bear has a cloven hoofed foot. They also weigh 7.0g versus the correct 7.3G for this date range (don't confuse with the post 2012 that now only weigh 7.0g too). Some of the date costs are completely wrong.

It's been since January here....just shows you in these times, not a lot of coins changing hands due to covid. Tap, tap, tap.  . I scored this one tonight. Waiting for my take out, I peaked in the tip box....ta da...a D-Day toonie ...not coloured. Well I had to swing a deal to get it out of the wild. The teller was great, and the cook came out of the kitchen to see what had caught my eye. I showed them both. It was odd that they cared, but I was glad to show them. The wife was shaking her head in the background. I'm all yours sweetie. She loves me anyways.   "We are poor little lambs...who have lost our way...Baa...Baa...Baa"
