Quote: I finally reached into a machine at a Wegmans an hour from my house and pulled out a really dirty looking dime that turned out to be a 1964-D. Not the nicest looking silver coin out there, but after a 50+ machine skunk streak I'm pretty happy with that find. Nice find!

Walked up to a machine the other day saw a pile of change in reject tray. These coins were in there with nothing else. I just cannot beleive what gets left behind sometimes.

Only the 1964 (P) was a Coinstar find tonight. The 1956 (D) quarter was from a lady who runs my local laundromat. Turns out she had hundreds of them. She knew I collected coins so she gave it to me trade for one clad quarter. I offered to give her an Indian Head cent, but she already had a bunch of those too. Turns out she's been collecting for 30 years. The 46 (P) and 41 (P) dimes were from a guy at my local wine shop. We had also discussed collecting and he saved those for me. I need to go back there soon. I've got a couple of IHC that have been cleaned. Great jewelry for his girlfriend, not too great for a collection. I have scooped about a dollar's worth of common coins and the miscellaneous stuff since May 4. I think that bus token might still be in use. I'll find a bus rider to give it to. The Mexican 50c piece is a 2005 and the Canadian quarter is 2011.

I actually got something in my local supermarket's Coinstar today! A man was putting in lots of change, and he walked away without checking the reject tray. I had a peep and pulled out this lot: Nothing very exciting - two Portuguese 2002 2-cent coins and 14 pence in spendable British money...
