I went to the store today there was a guy using the coinstar as I walked by I noticed a lot of coins in the reject tray it took him about 10 minutes to finish up I observed from a distance he got his receipt and did not check the reject tray my lucky day he left me 5.02 in modern change and a 1946 D Roosevelt . Yesterday I only found 28 cents however the quarter was a 2003 S Alabama clad proof still in pretty nice condition

Was cashing in some coin at my banks counter. Felt around in the reject slot and felt a coin standing up against the side of it. Pulled it out and saw a smooth 1897 V nickel. It wouldn't even grade AG but it was 123 years old! I haven't even found one in my rolls lately. I think it was only rejected because it was so badly worn.

Today was my first time finding coins in the reject slot I found this 1969 fifty pence. I saw there were coins in it when I walked up to the machine, then I snagged all the coins out when I was finished. I haven't actually collected many coins so far, but am honing my hunting skills. This is also the first foreign coin in my collection :-)
