John77 Pillar of the Community United States 2949 Posts	Posted 04/01/2021 7:52 pm Was in quite the Coinstar drought lately... went to the local CVS and noticed something funny looking sitting amongst the coins in the reject bin. Put my hand and pulled out two dimes and four Zincolns... much to my shock, not only was the "funny looking" coin silver, it was a modern silver proof! 2016-S... happy shock. Interestingly, it weighs 2.59 grams, so the 2016 silver proof dimes were apparently made from thicker than normal planchets. CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years!
