Awesome finds. BTW, when I checked Coinstar on Wednesday, I looked under the machine and there was a dime with a worn reverse. Flipped it around, saw 196- as the date and got excited until I saw the last digit - a six. Ugh!  |

Found $0.39 USD (3 dimes + 1 nickel + 3 cents) and $0.10 CAD (1 dime). Unfortunately, no silver, or copper for that matter. But it is the first find of the month, so I'll take it.

Finally felt well enough today to sit at the table and do my 'accounting' for 2023. (I seem to get the flu every other week; and yes, I got the flu shot last Tuesday and got hit badly Sunday) Well, here's my ledger. Coinstar: $70.94. $67.68 USA and $3.26 CAD. My big haul was April 19th. You can view that day in all its splendor on page 324 of this topic. My total is actually a bit more since I pre-pulled any silver or foreign coins earlier. I also have a 2nd pile of 'found' money; not from Coinstar but found by looking DOWN while walking. My total for that was $17.48, which makes my 'found' total at $88.42. ((2022 totals were $67.64 + $29.95 = $97.59. I got more at Coinstar in 2023 but didn't feel well enough to walk as much so I was down $9.17}}  |
