This is a very nice Peace dollar. I think it wasn't cheap in 1999 either.

It's a very nice and smooth coin but would someone please explain to me what those grooves at the edge (12, 4, 7 o'clock) are for? I don't remember any TPG holder have such mounting mechanism.....
