Nice coins everyone, particularly Wael's George III halfcrown and Paddy B's Florin.

I need to move out of the Pacific and start adding to the Halfcrown/Florin holdings again.

Another lowballer but again a very scarce date in the Queen Victoria shilling series 1862
Nice example!

Have had it a couple of years. More of a medal than a coin, but I just knew I had to get one once I saw it. Not positive , but I think they are mostly QV's offspring.

The marginal pics are the best I can do now: https://www.PCGS.com/cert/34945818
PCGS photos not that good either.

A few GB halfpenny coppers I picked up on Wednesday. The 1731 and 1751 are upgrades for me, the 1718 and 1771 just because they were good value!

Here are a few I picked up in a mixed lot of coins I purchased. 1921 florin, 1826 shilling (too bad about the hole...), and 1889 shilling, large head variety.

A very expensive Halfcrown upgrade

1888 - bare EF, possibly cleaning although the fields of the reverse are very nice and make me think this could be an impaired proof. It has a nice recessed and beautiful shine.

The clincher was that these catalogue around £50 - £55 in EF and £100 in AU. I very stupidly paid $200 for it from a person not really experienced in coins.

Not the rarest coin on the block but in this condition they are extremely difficult to locate. 1958 one of the key dates for the Queen Elizabeth II series Nice uniform Cartwheel lustre and more importantly that box ticked
