I got some date doubling 1978 and 1979's a bunch of minor rotations, but the neat finds were a clipped 2007, an almost 180 rotation 2002 and a 2001 with accumulations. Nice finds wolfman, I've never found a small cent clip that modern. How common are the rotations? I go through cents fairly quickly and don't search for them but maybe I should. wolfman-11 Valued Member Canada 372 Posts	Posted 02/20/2016 3:06 pm I find rotations in 1970's and 1980's pennies and nickels on a regular basis. They are often less than 20 degrees which is claimed to be "in tolerance", but eventually I will line them up in a book in their varying degrees. Report this Post to the Staff
o-train Pillar of the Community Canada 519 Posts	Posted 02/26/2016 5:26 pm Picked up 48 rolls of pennies at the banks today. Older Canadian finds include: 1942, 1947ML, 1954, 1955, 1956(2), 1957, and 1959(5). Also found 1 Wheat cent which is a 1910. Report this Post to the Staff

Older Canadian finds include: 1940(2), 1943, 1947ML, 1949, 1950, 1952, 1957, and 1958(2). Also found a 1999 Two Euro Cent, 1982 UK One Penny, 1999 Barbados Cent, and a 1941 Wheat cent. o-train Pillar of the Community Canada 519 Posts	Posted 04/18/2016 9:01 pm I put on a sporting event or show I don't care about too much/doesn't require a lot of attention and then just go through the rolls one at a time. Keep everything pre 1960, foreign, errors/varieties, and coins that are in good condition for the year. I have a magnet for the 2006's without the mint logo. I tend to go fairly quickly and I'm sure I miss the odd keeper but I would lose interest if I went really slow. I like the thrill of the hunt, especially when the finds are good. I used to be a speed searcher, and could search a full box in a couple hours. Thought it would be a double milestone with my 500th post and 300k small cents searched but I'm short by 100 at 299,900. Older Canadian finds all came from one roll and include: 1940, 1947, and 1950. Found 3 wheat cents including a 1943 steel cent and also a dime. Report this Post to the Staff
