Good grief, the beer cans probably looked more like JFK than Ole Ben does.

One time I was at ANACS headquarters, and I was allowed to come into the grading room. I saw one submission that was something like this: 1969 S Cent - error 2000 dollar - error 1997 nickel - error 1967 cent - error 1977 half dollar - error and many more!
None of them were errors obviously. Maybe it is the same guy who posted that cent!

Today's "oy vey" special: a 1975 No "S" proof Roosevelt for a low $8 million, with no shipping available from a zero-rated seller in Poland. Seems legit. Here's the seller's crisp photo:

Ripken was the cream of the crop in his era. He swung a fat bat. The seller is trying to mooove that medal, for sure. He's trying the milk buyers for $25, but that seems a bit rich.

That Seated dollar bothers me for another reason. This is one of the coins supposedly being sold as "Seized Russian Traitor Assets Up For Sale. 100% REAL!" That alone screams "run away, don't walk" to me. In addition, the reverse photo is too blurry to be sure, but the scratches below the branch and feather tip might be a cover for a removed "S" mm. The 1867-S can have a weak mm, and it wouldn't take much to remove it. It had 57 bids and sold for $880. EDIT: enhanced closeup of mm area from the ebay photo:

Yikes! What does anyone have against a Morgan that they would torture it this way?
I love how the seller says "This would look great with a bezel on a necklace!" I was thinking more along the lines of "this would look great melted into a lump of .999 refined Ag and repurposed for anything else." At current melt, this mustard-and-green-beans blob would have about $12.05 of silver,so a $9.05 bid plus the $3 shipping would be about the max.
