ebay seems to care less, & resists cancelling some of these ... when declining to cancel, they give me a dead link to "file an appeal" ... https://www.ebay.com/ifh/appeal?dat...5In0&mkdid=4 (link)

a 1% fee on that first item would be $7,500
eBay has a cap on fees of $750.

Only the ones (not graded by approved TPG) where the price per coin is over $2,500 violate ebay policy.

For example, 4 coins for $9,000 is not against policy.

I think we are getting off the topic of this thread...

Agree with nns-52 above. Let's get back to spotlighting the 'worst coins'.

RARE ERROR "P" MINT 1989 DIME

..."with error showing copper on the bottom rim and rim does not measure same anywhere all around."

So rare in that the Philadelphia mint only made 896,535,000 of them (and some got damaged).

For fun, I decided to go back to the beginning of the thread. There were some pretty nasty 1870s IHCs being posted. Wish we had pics of them so we could see the gory details.

I encourage anyone posting here to include an image because after a while ebay cycles off old listings, then one just has to wonder what the coin looked like.

agree on the image, but "worst" is an ambiguous term ...worst coin price, worst coin condition, worst coin description, ... a tighter definition of "worst coin" would help ...

Good point. I think they do this every 90 days, to free up server space (because it would take a butt-load of storage to keep records of everything sold in the nearly three decades ebay has been around).
