Probably an investment best left to the more ambitious collector.

My latest 'ugly' note. It's scarce so I went for it (I won the auction for around $25). Too much probably! But I'm fascinated by Chinese notes.

I should probably identify its remains: Commercial Bank of China (Shanghai) $1 of 1929.

The indistinct figure standing at the right is the stellar deity of prosperity Lu Xing.

It joins my other ugly note of this bank which I think I posted on this topic a few years ago (far worse than this but I only paid a dollar for that)

When you want something, you want it. Nice example!
