Found this CRH several months ago. It's a 1988. Hard to believe this clad was a pocket piece. No idea how this may have happened.

Hard to know if this one had mechanical help in its past life or not.

Could it have been some type of test piece or struck thru? Who knows!

Unfortunately I developed a hole in a pants pocket twice now in the last 6 months. This is the 3rd time since I started carrying coins 7 or so years ago. After the first time 4 or 5 years ago I had my mother sew the bottom seam of all of my pants and shorts pockets extra reinforced. Unfortunately the second time a few months ago I'm not sure what happened but I eventually found my lost dime. A month or 2 ago when it happened for the 3rd time it was because I had introduced a new dollar with sharp reeding on the edge and I believe it sawed a hole in the side of my pocket the size of a half dollar and I lost my 2 dimes at work without my knowledge and then I drove to the grocery store and shopped and then went home before I realized that I had a hole and the dimes had gone missing. Luckily after all of the walking around with the hole my quarter and $20 for $20 didn't fall out as well. Of course all of this happened on a Friday and I had to sit and worry all weekend. I found my dimes at work on Monday and have since decided to carry my coins in a pouch that my mother had sewn for me. Current state of the small ones.

My pocket pieces don't get much pocket time since I've been working from home for over a year now...

I've still got a full pocket. Several have been going for 5+ years, others I've switched around. Maybe I'll post pictures at some point.

Here's my yearly update. Over four years now without a day missed. There really isn't much change from last year.
