Again this is my only Barber half, but it is one of the most expensive coins I've ever purchased. It certainly had a long life in circulation, but now it gets a much deserved rest in a PCGS G-4 holder.

1915 Barber Half, key date.... Very nice 1914, Rubles!

1914: 124,240
1915: 138,000

So technically the 1914 is the key date...

Same bad picture as I posted in the grading section... Really does not flatter the coin at all.

Thank you! I really like your 1915 as well, it's very wholesome and original! What do you grade it as?

I grade mine at VG-8, with assistance from CCF and PCGS Photograde.

I would agree with that, it's very nice and a strong VG! While I like mine, I wish it didn't have the large marks. I guess the best way to look at it is that it has character and a story!

My 1942S half-dollar - shame about the edge knock under the date!

This is definitely one of my favourite US coin designs!

Here's my contribution. One of the key dates with nice even wear for the grade. Thanks for looking.

kanga,

There is an edit icon at the top of your post. I believe you can't edit more than 24 hours after the post though.
