A Swedish 1 krona received in lieu of a penny somewhere in Santa Monica. A Bolivian 50 centavos that was in my change during a trip to Ecuador. A 1944 silver quarter that one of my kids found on the ground at the community pool. Technically, it wasn't in circulation -- what should we call this, a "non-archeological find"?
