Rarest coin in my collection, minted in 1770 for Germanic bisporic state of Speyer. Only 5000 minted.

For U.S, it is going to go to my 1909-S Barber dime @ an even 1,000,000 minted according to 2014 Red Book.

However, considering foreign low mintage coins, this 1962 Fiji Florin takes the cake at 200,000 minted. Not super valuable, but still a pretty low mintage.

Here is mine 1987 Namibia 100 rand in silver. Mintage of 25. This was a pattern struck by the Budapest Mint but Namibia was not freed by South Africa so these were not struck as a business issue. XE 2 in Krause.

Very nice. I appreciate the historical context.

I think this is my real coin with the lowest mintage.

Post-Your-Lowest-Mintage-Coin...... Post-Your-Lowest-Mintage-Coin......
Lesotho, 15 maloti, 1981 - mintage 2,500.

And I have found another Canadian municipal Trade dollar with an even lower mintage

Only 600 of these cute little bars exist without a serial number. I had to buy these because they're apparently unique - a combination of local Trade dollar and silver bullion bar.

I collect by getting my coins as change or as a gift, so my rarest coin is a 1910-S penny at a mintage of 6,045,000 which I received in my change.
