No, the box was open when the teller brought it out from the vault. In hindsight, that shoulda been enough to decline, but I all I asked about was to ensure the right number of rolls still therein.
Finished the box. No silvers (duh), but I got 7 NIFC, 4 of which are hole-fillers and two of which have magic marker marks (one says "buffalo boy").

i would say either someone cashed the box in and they sold it to you or it was a bank employee, the cash vaults wont release them like that, at least not in my three year experiences..

You never know I got an unsealed box once it was about
half CWR rolls and half bank rolls.
I found over 80,40% in that box all in the CWR rolls.
I have seen rolls like yours before also several boxes of rolls that were very neatly re-rolled in the bank wrapers.
Like Arby got awhile back.

Hmm, did a little net searching and found that buffalo boy is a half dollar CRHer who marks halves with "buffalo boy" on the obverse and the month/year of marking on the reverse. My reverse is 2/15. What is a bummer is that this is a 2002-D and not a 1971-1976 half. I wonder if this comes off . . .. Kinda like marking bills with the Where's George stamp, but not having as strong of a way for tracking. To each his own.   |

Kinda like marking bills with the Where's George stamp, but not having as strong of a way for tracking.
To each his own I have a 1974 IKE (high condition) but it is counter stamped with a #4 next to the (D) mint mark. Can't bring myself to get rid of it. Looks GEM to me. What a shame on the doer of this deed. |
