I get a call from my bank every now and again when they are turned in. I have over 400 of them in the last 1 1/2 years. I'll probably try to sell them. I don't even bother looking for errors.

Stopped at 6 banks yesterday and asked for large dollar coins. Only one had anything, and it was a single circulated T2 Bicentennial. I won't give up finding something good!

Hoping this is he right thread to post

In this thread a few pages back, I was sharing that my yard keeper doubled my rate

Sooooo I bartered with him to take IKEs as half the amount

But I was running out of middle grade coins.

Sooooo I took a chance at buying some IKEs over the net where I could possibly continue to pay my yard guy in coins.

In the final analysis, It is better than my worst fears.

Every single coin is in good enough condition to satisfy him.

And I get to keep all the Mints and Dates (and conditions) for my collection.

It amounts to paying more than *FACE* then selling at $.55 MORE than that.

I'm keeping all the phillies, and all the 1974s - 1977 - and 1978s ~~ APPROX 25% of the coins

Putting a fine point on it those coins are FREE

Hope I can keep it going both on the incoming IKEs, and my helper! It really amounts to some free IKEs even though I paid more than face to get the 'em.

Best part, I was able to keep the 1974s, 1977s and te 1978s.

Not that you are finding any, but I hope you are keeping the really, really nice 1971 and 1972. Those are much harder to come by.

Yes, I am keeping all the '71 P and '72 P Nice, yes. How nice (?)

For budget reasons, I can't take any more Denver '71 & '72

One thing for sure the feathers on the 74 - 77 - 78 are a lot fuller.
