I agree the gold Delta coin is better looking that the silver one but I like the Lucite holder of the silver coin more than the round capsule of the RCM coin.

I agree with you MoneyPenney, the Lucite holder is much better!

Did the silver "killed" the gold one and people massively cancel the orders? Probably not IMO, the "50" is too big on the silver, but the "Canada" lettering on gold not on it's place. Presentation box definetevelly better at RCM, but this outdated capsule with the foam .... And the coin size more realistic on the silver, while the gold is souvenirish. So, will agree with CoinCanuck -the coins compliment each other.

I like the design of the gold Delta much better.
However, the silver Delta with its lucite holder looks good and, I agree, will compliment the classier gold Delta, even in that round capsule.
I hope that's it for Delta coins. No more, please.

We'll see what's less expensive - order from Perth or local Canadian dealer.

I like both coins and ordered both coins for matching purposes.
Hope getting match serial numbers.

Ordering from Perth Mint is always less expensive for me because shipping is free over $400 and there are no taxes/duties, as long as you communicate with Customs and they assess it properly.

I noticed a link in the RFD discussion forum not posted here. http://agaunews.com/star-treks-delt...anniversary/I can see the silver version significantly increasing in price if offered for sale. Great for the desk at the office or for use as a beautiful paperweight!

Worth to order at TCS ....the price in very comfortable zone. Not sure, if need to "up" the order to CAD 200 - at least in GTA it CAD 9.99 And, it already on ebay: the listing by Talisman (bit more than issue) and another one, Item ID = 182269422500 for CAD 125Goes up?

@Silveroid
Too early to tell on this coin's price trend. After all, mintage 5000 pcs.
One thing for sure, nice & afforable silver coin for Star Trek Fan ( compared to CAD$1800+ Star Trek Gold Coin )

It is some "hype joke", Justsilver
I find this coin very affordable for ST fans and nice to have for Sci Fi fans.
And you right, with the 5000 of mintage, probably the max value of this coin on the secondary market will be CAD 150. Do not think, that will be surprises here...
