USA 2012 dollar celebrating the Star Spangled Banner.

From Numista: War of 1812, Battle of Baltimore that formed the basis for the lyrics of the Star Spangled Banner. Obverse - The design depicts Lady Liberty waving the 15-star, 15-stripe Star-Spangled Banner with Fort McHenry in the Background. Reverse - The design depicts a waving modern American flag.

I seem to recall when you posted that set before. Not a bad price.

Been away from these big wheels for a while but I have these rolling in. ( actual coins I bought )

ANACS MS69
1995 P Civil War Unc Dollar
mintage 45,866
almost 1/10 the number minted 437,114 in proof which I already have in the 1995 Prestiege set.
I don't consider this one a "beautiful" coin but the unc version may be a good buy at this time if you can find one under $50.
Not to brag but I snagged this one slabbed and shipped for just under $40. A no-brainer IMO.

NGC PR69
2008 P Bald Eagle Proof Dollar
mintage 294,601
( I already have the unc version mintage 119,204 )
This is just an a very nice design, even though there are plenty to go around, I think it was born a classic design right out the gate.

Most all, if not all of the uncirculated versions have significantly lower mintages than the proofs with the same designs. In my opinion, the uncs look nicer for some issues than proofs. Some of the better themes with low mintages might be the key coins down the road.
I am not looking to complete a set, I only collect the ones that I feel are excellent works of art and/or also have a significant historical theme.
