OK mystery coin round. If I remember from playing Go Fish when I was much younger, it was a game of do you have one or not.
So I have a coin that I will reveal at the end of the round. First one to post a match to this coin wins.
Please stop trying not to win

So my question to everyone is

Do you have a Silver coin dated 1923?

Cut off time 3PM. 12-24

A participation Swing and a miss! 1922 Peace dollar... Only chance of me having a matching coin in silver would be if it was in my 7070.

Of course I had to use my latest: 2013-W 5 Star Generals Commemorative Silver Dollar

The Points

- Dated 2013, 1913, 1813, 1713, and so on ...
- Military Related (People, Bases, Battles, Wars, etc.)
- Depicts Two People
- Names a Location
- Depicts a Lamp
- Five (or more) Stars

I will not give an end date just yet since we have a Holiday coming up.

Congratulations Jbuck. Well played.

2013 5 Star General Commemorative Half Dollar...

Not sure how the points work out.
Only thing it is missing is the lamp.

My opinion is these challenges are silly.

Incredibly short length and not fair, I could have entered but find they have closed in nanoseconds. You mention its a holiday and 28 minutes later its shut down.

Please no more!

Challenges with less than 24.48 hours durations
Date challenges - had 5 in a row need something fresh
Challenges that favour American coins and American entrants over everyone else.
We have a thread for this quick fire nonsense.

Sorry Princetane... I just knew I had somewhat of a match in the half dollar. When I found it and looked at it I was surprised at how good of a match I had.

I know I'm 3˝ years late but the first response in this thread was a penny, not a twopence.

I hope to get one of those twopences some day. Unfortunately they're a lot rarer than the pennies, and circulated a lot less, so tend to show up in higher grades (with corresponding prices).
