A neat counterstamp. I can imagine a couple with the nicknames Chick & Chicky making it back in the 1940s.

Hi, those are all really neat pennies. Where did the extra stamps come from? These didn't come from the mint did they? I have a penny with a weird stamp on it. I'm sure it was not stamped that way from the mint and I'd like to get someone's opinion on it. Can I post a picture of it here?

None of these came from the mint like this. People stamp them and many times release them into the wild to be discovered by someone. I enjoy collecting them... especially the ones that you can tell spent time in circulation. Technically its considered Post Mint Damage.

This one is odd. Almost seems as though it was meant to say "4 H" and they got the H stamp sideways. 1944 doesn't coincide with anything significant in 4H's history though. Anyone have any ideas?
