Thar's copper in them hills! The vignette doesn't look much like Alaska, but that's where the mine was. The handwritten notation at top says "Original stock bought 1902 at 20˘ share." That would have been while the Klondike gold rush was still at its peak. These copper mines were much further north.

Far from the mines in the deserts of Nevada, or the golden diggings in Colorado and the American west, we have a Spanish Coal mine.

What a dramatic illustration! Sometimes these Euro bonds do surpass the American ones, though I am definitely biased towards engravings. Thanks for posting!
