 Here is a certified High Nine to compare with yours. See how the last nine on yours falls below the base of the 2 compared to the genuine where the bottom of the nine is parallel to base of the 2.   |

I agree it is not as high as some. But its not low either I don't think. I think the wear on the coin/shadows cause the line on the last photo to be a bit off.  |

That is what is sometimes called a 'medium 9'.
Sort of in between a High and Low nine.

Had just looked at Medium 9 when I posted and
it must have stuck in my head.

Never mind drawing lines on your coins - compare the gap between the 2 and the last 9. The "high, far 9" has a substantial gap.

Is it the comparison of the 1-9 gap being the same as the 2-9 gap, with both being wider than the 9-2 gap? On a regular one, the 2-9 gap is mush narrower than the 1-9 gap.

The gap is a much better marker. So not high. Darn. But back on JimmyD's "lines", I am pretty sure I have seen low 9s where the tail of the 9 is fully below the line.

Got this one in a box of cents this weekend. I would grade this piece at 62RB. Any idea on value?  |

According to Coins and Canada, for a certified MS62,
it has a value of $480.00 CDN.
That is book price so the actual value may be a little less.
Nice find though in a box of cents.

Looks like it has nice eye appeal... a good candidate to certify with PCGS and add to your George V 1c registry set.
