I can see why you like them Hondo! it is an excellent looking coin  Unless I'm looking it up wrong on Numista - I cannot find your coin there - only the Proof 'Pattern' one there. If that is so, you should get your posted there.  |

Though lately I've mostly been focused on Arkansas NBNs and obsoletes, I do still get the occasional silver commemorative upgrade for my set when a "right one" comes along. I just picked up this 1935-D Texas commemorative in PCGS 67 with a green bean.  |

@CoinForMe, this is one of my favorite designs, as well. A bit busy on the reverse, but I feel it's well executed overall. A Texas commemorative was one of the first commemoratives I purchased, along with an Oregon Trail and an Arkansas half, in February 2014 at a small coin show in Houston.
