Even if you do find any, it's hard to spend them as so many places now take card payment only! So I was quite surprised yesterday to pick up a humble 2010 penny... The previous 1p reverse showed a portcullis and the new Charles III ones since 2023 show a dormouse, though I haven't heard of any of those being found in circulation yet.
