I know they are not intended for circulation. Right. Don't really share much in common. Proof dies are not circulation dies. Proof are double struck with optimal settings, circulation are 1 really quick whap then off to the bin through a machine, while the Proof is handled individually from not mass production equipment. A higher quality of finish, lipstick  , comes from all the care put into their production from the get go. You should be able to see your refection in the field at arms length. I'm on the Proofs are not circulation coins side. Even though I'm sure when li'l johnnie wanted an ice cream, some sets got spent.  . And if a coin doesn't have an odd year stamped on it as part of its design, it is not "odd dated" even if it was issued in an odd year. Edited by OzLeigh

Edit - Don't use "from". Minted or issued works better. You should know that by now. Sorry. I will delete the word "from" from my CCF vernacular. No set rules on the number of Q's chafe, but don't be a hog. A lot of us limit it to 3 per day just to let others play too.
