Quote: You guys are hung up one that Super Bowl question.
Nope, it was brilliant.

I looked at this question and I thought, "There goes Spence again, asking a poorly thought out question that's just a waste!"
Then I looked into it a little deeper and realized it is a brilliant question.
My apologies Spence.
He did it again, someone else must have noticed it cut the date range in half. Way to go Spence. .

Not from the US(A) not minted before the Panama Canal opened. minted before the first Superbowl had been played. the capital of the country of issue of this coin is not within 5,500 miles of Washington D.C. Walvis Bay was not part of Namibia when this coin was made.
Ok looks like I outsmarted myself on the date and wasted a question.
This coin was minted: after 1914 (Panama Canal) before 1967 (Superbowl) before 1994 (Walvis Bay)
Maybe someone else should take a turn with finding out if it was minted before or after 1954? Looks like the most boring day of the 20th century occurred that year, but feel free to add whatever spice you want.

Is the date on the coin from before the Battle of Britain was won?

I am also lovin' @Keith's question which, best I can tell, eliminates the Western Hemisphere and Europe (and western Africa), but leaves Asia, Australia/Oceania and east Africa in play.
Is the capital city of the country of issue of this coin closer to the Pacific Ocean than it is to the Indian Ocean?
Thanks coach, I was just about to grab a world map and my compass. .
2 questions pending, no hints needed. You may wear the crown joe, but you are up against....."The Guessers." Undefeated I believe. .

"Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few". But this coin was not there.
Could not have been there as it was not yet minted. I suspect that even if this coin had been minted at the time, it would have hidden as I believe this coin is a coward.
Edit: I have the cowardly loin filling my thoughts. Do you think there's a lion on the coin.
