I am taking after joecoin:
Ironically, the American civil war was taking place over these remaining years!
1864 was a really cool year. One century before America stopped making silver coins.
The United States Congress passes the Coinage Act of 1864, which mandates that the inscription In God We Trust be placed on all coins minted as United States currency.
The Second Anglo-Ashanti War ends.
And lots of other cool things happened.

But, no luck. My coin was not minted in that year.

Nice coin and a fun round James. Congrats silverwolf. I'm hoping its Canadian, but I'll ask.....

Is the coin from the Northern Hemisphere?
