I have lots of 1934 US coins but only one I am going to post to keep picture count down a bit!

1934 Washington quarter
Doubled Die Obverse ( DDO)
ANACS VG 10 small white holder.

FS-101 (die pair #1) - the deprecated FS number, FS-009, is on the holder because it's an old holder.

The strongest doubled die in the silver Washington series, but also by far the most common.

The first T in TRUST is a dead obvious giveaway for the variety and makes for easy cherrypicking, so they tend to get spotted, which increases the known population and keeps them relatively affordable.

Lovely coin Pepactonius - One day I dream of buying one!

I have one particularly nice British coin from 1933 though and its at the other end of the denomination scale.

1933 UK Farthing - this is a stunner and probably the nicest British bronze coin I have outside of 1953 and the later 1960s.

Lots of natural lustre and practically no wear. At the very least this is AU and I suspect it could even be uncirculated. Yet again it popped up in a bulk lot.

Instantly removed and put in a fresh holder!

I know its just a farthing, but I really love this coin

Thanks -- it's probably my favorite UK crown (and a lot less expensive than I thought it would be.)
