Nice coins NumisRob and I love your collection of crowns. I think the reverse designs on the Boehm coins (Shilling - Half crowns 1893 - 1901) was high relief and always wore off quickly. Your halfcrown is much nicer than mine and again has the middle shield almost worn away whereas Victoria and the lettering is quite sharp still.

Here is a different coin for me, a 5 ore from Sweden with the royal cypher of Oscar II (It is likely these were used in Norway too)

Very dark colour, but probably VF - surprisingly I have 2 more of them from the 1870s too.

In fact, a purely Norwegian coin. Sweden and Norway had the same king, but separate coinage. Then of course, the Scandinavian Monetary Union was in effect at this time, tying the currencies of Sweden, Norway and Denmark to each other and making coins and banknotes (all using the system 1 krona/krone = 100 öre/øre) from all three countries valid throughout the union.

Oops my mistake, I looked and sure enough, I got them confused with a very worn 10 ore I had of Sweden (I did not show it as it was too worn).

Love the French 10 Francs.

Also I noticed that some people refer to Boehm as Brock (Seems he changed his name possibly to sound less Jewish/German?)

Last 1896 coin. I would have shown this first, but it is just so worn (G - VG and harshly cleaned) it comes last.

Russian Empire 50 Kopecks (One Poltina/Poltnik) Nicholas II (very early) - worn but complete - a thick coin.

Can't believe I'm the first one to the party with a German Empire coin today, another 5 pfennig, 1896J. I have a pile of small denomination German coins that came back from WWII with a relative, now deceased. Somehow I forgot about these during the last "How Far Back" that these would have enabled me to participate.
