Those Morgans are shiny, definitely a popular coin for the late 1800s. Love those Carson City's those are the harder dollars. I remember when I collected Morgans it was the 1878 - 1886 ones that were the easiest to find. I had most of the common ones. However here is an affordable classic.  Swiss 10 and 20 Rappen coins from the 1880s and 1890s are quite common, but not in this condition. This one would have to be close to EF with sharp detail. Most are worn to death. I love it - 135 years old and going strong. When I found I almost thought it was 1985 not 1885. Edited by Princetane

And we have seen a 1 Kreuzer of Austria Hungary, they had an even smaller 5/10 Kreuzer coin. This was the smallest and lowest value coin at the time I think. It is 17mm and very dinky.  |

Heller. Cruzer I get confuseder My last coin is the de rigeur worn to death penny that takes over from the battered half crowns.  Take it in as I only have 1 mediocre coin for 1884 and nothing for 1883. I am happy my collection has at least one coin for every year going back to 1884. |
