Some more great coins everyone! Some of my non-UK coins: IHC (cheap junk bin purchase): Morgan dollar, New Orleans Mint - this was the first Morgan I got. It was a gift from an American friend of my Mom's in 1976: This is my best coin for 1882. French 1882 50 centimes. It's quite funny how I got it. There's an Antiques Market in my home town in a converted Victorian brewery building, open on Fridays and Saturdays. For many years there was a stall inside selling general bric-a-brac, called "The Squirrel's Nest". There was invariably a saucer of coins for 5p each. I would look in the saucer every week and see the same common pre-decimal British pennies, Spanish pesetas or recent German 10-pfennigs. Then one Saturday I put my hand in and pulled out this! It has gorgeous golden toning with traces of lustre in the lettering, and looks much nicer in hand than in the photo!
