Is this toonie fake? I got it from a vending machine and it looks fresh from the mint even though it's 20 years old. This is too good to be true right?

It appears to be authentic. It is definitely not a Camel Toe counterfeit toonie.

@the falcon, it looks fairly uncirculated to me, though the back right paw and leg of the coin look questionable probably just PMD. There is fakes aside from the camel toe toonies but I don't see any key features that show this is a confirmed fake. Could just be a nice coin you found though:)

After reading this post , I'm a bit nervous. I have been hording Toonies ever since they were first released. Every few years I cash them in and they pay for a holiday. At the moment I have 10 years worth, jars and jars and jars. I'm thinking the bank might be a bit suspicious of me when I walk in with all of those coins. Yikes!

Ok thank you for all the quick replies. :) That was what I was hoping for and this one will definitely be better than the one I currently have.

Nice coin the falcon! And north of 49 id take all your toonies if you were close enough. 10 years worth sounds like an amazing toonie hunt to me lol.

Very true, I could go on for hours about growing up here and my life story etc:p it's fun to meet someone who is from my hometown on here but there is a time and a place for that. it's an important thread. I have still yet to come across any of the cameltoe toonies In about 2 months. Maybe this weekend I'll grab some toonie. rolls, I rarely get toonies at the bank
