^ agreed. A minimum of 5 days (must include a Sat/Sun), a maximum of 10 days?

I think a a ten day maximum might be too long. This round is on day eight and feels long.
At first I was thinking minimum of three days and maximum five days, but a maximum of seven seems fair.

Oops. I got involved in sorting 20 pounds of foreign coins last night and forgot that I had other duties. I'll check up on it and post results as soon as possible.

We may have a problem, Houston. The auction I chose was on Propertyroom.com, and now I can't find any way to review closed auctions. The good news, however, is that I copied and saved the URL of that particular auction. Bad news is that it's at home on my laptop. And if that listing has been wiped out ... worst case scenario. I'll check it out as soon as I get home this afternoon. jbuck, you got the wet noodle ready for the lashing?

This may be the first contest where everyone cast a lowball bid, as chris1222nascar with his $30.00 bid is the winner. Propertyroom.com is not a bad place to bid on previously-stolen evidence; my co-worker has gotten some excellent deals on items like cameras, watches, and jewelry there. However, many of the coin auctions end up way past what a typical Red Book price would be, so if I were you I wouldn't use this site to do pricing research for coins. You're on your own if you decide to bid.

I finally won a round this time The next coin will be an 1856 Braided Hair Large Cent. This is an ebay auction and the guessing will close at 5 PM forum time on February 12. If this is to long or to short, tell me and I can pick a new auction. Glad to see I am finally in the lead but doubt that will last after this round.
