Proof coins can be attractive, but they far too often develop a milky cloudiness that is off-putting to my eyes. Collecting history one coin or medal at a time! (c) commems. All rights reserved. So, here they are - Half Dollar, Silver Dollar and Gold Half Eagle: This is one time in which I purchased a three-coin Uncirculated set vs. individual Uncirculated coins. Proof and Uncirculated three-piece sets were available, as was a six-piece Proof and Uncirculated set. , Collecting history one coin or medal at a time! (c) commems. All rights reserved.
