commems CCF Master Historian of USA Commemoratives United States 12357 Posts	Posted 09/18/2024 2:40 pm Desired as a fundraiser by World Cup USA94 (organizers of the 1994 World Cup tournament that was held in the US), a three-coin commemorative program was approved by the US Congress and President. It included the "traditional" Copper-Nickel (CuNi) Half Dollar, Silver dollar and Gold Half Eagle. Obverse Designs of 1994 World Cup USA94 Coins Common Reverse (except for Denomination) of 1994 World Cup USA94 Coins This was another time that I purchased a three-coin set vs. individual Uncirculated coins. (I took these images of the coins still in their capsule more than a decade ago - my technique has progressed!
