I'll keep it then.

You on holidays now....

Was this thing around when John Newcombe defeated Wilhelm Bungert in the final, 6-3, 6-1, 6-1 to win the gentlemen's singles tennis title at the Wimbledon Championships?

I've done 2 contests.

Prize is up to you. No matter what it is, it will get players.

Don't make us take you to court.

Sounds like a good idea. Maybe run a contest first to find a player to go head to head or maybe 4 players to fight it out.

Want to do something that involves a modicum of "skill"

I won ttkoo's contest a while back and have felt a bit guilty ever since

Do you think winners of other people's contests are obliged to run a contest of their own

I'm back on the 6th, then counting down to retirement. If all goes well I may end up after June, then take 3 months leave to take me up to 67.

Not at all, may not be a bad idea. I've thought about doing something like that.

Not at all. Both mine were wild rides. 1st one, had a tie. 1 winner went MIA. The other took the prize. 2nd one, a winner refused shipment and the next closest got the prize. Oh, it's got some unforeseen challenges when you go there. Still worth it.
